For more than 30 years, Java John’s has been part of the rhythm of downtown Nevada City—a familiar place where friends gather, neighbors connect, and visitors are welcomed like locals.

 

Java John’s has always been more than a place to grab a cup of coffee. As a Nevada City native who grew up spending time downtown, I’m honored to carry Java John’s into its next chapter. Our goal is to preserve the warmth, character, and sense of community that have made this café special while thoughtfully building on its legacy for generations to come.
